Former CSUB ace pitcher Mike McCarthy devotes his life to a foundation helping kids

Former CSUB ace pitcher Mike McCarthy is behind a campaign to help victims of the Santa Rosa fires. McCarthy, who was drafted by the Boston Red Sox and now works in marketing for Lengthwise Brewing, is collecting new and used baseball equipment to give to families who lost homes in the fires. In one Little League organization, fully 25 percent of the families lost their homes.
