Police search for suspects in Bakersfield Bed, Bath and Beyond theft

Call him the Bed, Bath and Beyond bandit, but Bakersfield Police are taking a suspect who has stolen items from the Bakersfield retail store on Stockdale Highway seriously and are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the man.

Police said a white male, in his early 30s, about 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8, weighing 180 to 200 pounds, and with tattoos on both arms is suspected in three separate thefts of the Bed, Bath and Beyond store, 5000 Stockdale Highway. Police said the suspect would enter the business, select several items of merchandise, and exit the store without paying for the items.
