Bakersfield’s Porsche dealer aims to please with service, competitive pricing

It’s one of the most iconic brands when it comes to power, performance, and luxury that was honed on the race track.

Today, German automaker Porsche still offers world-class performance but has upped the luxury offerings with sedans and a popular line of SUVs. In Bakersfield, Family Motors offers a huge selection of new Porsche vehicles and is always happy to show the cars and SUVs.

Family Motors Auto Group’s Yolanda Sifuentes says the misconception about Porsche is often about price, but that the iconic automaker offers luxurious and powerful cars and SUVs at a competitive price.

“You’re more than welcome to come in once, twice, three times if necessary,” said Yolanda Sifuentes, the customer relations manager for Bakersfield’s Family Motors Auto Group, which also offers Audi and Volkswagen in its line of dealerships.

Sifuentes said many are surprised to find out how affordable the new line of Porsche cars and SUVs can be, and that increasingly popular Macan model starts at $47,800. The automaker still makes the powerful and fun 911 Carrera  — the iconic sports car that has remained one of the company’s best sellers.

While performance and power are the hallmarks of the Porsche experience, Sifuentes said the dealership’s priority is coupling that experience with world class customer service.

“We are a family,” Sifuentes said. “We want you to feel comfortable. We don’t want you to feel like you’re in a dealership where you’re pushed to buy.”

On a recent visit, Sifuentes was demonstrating the technology available in the cars, including how quickly a phone can be paired with the onboard entertainment system and hands-free elements. However, it’s the luxury features that will astound many as they explore the Panamera, the remarkable four-door sedan that is loaded with state-of-the-art technology
