Secret witness reward offered in Oildale home invasion

The Kern County Secret Witness Program is offering a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of a suspect wanted in connection with a home invasion robbery that occurred in Oildale on June 6.

The Kern County Sheriff’s Department said a suspect entered the home of an 86-year-old female victim, brandished a shotgun at her, and stole numerous items including electronics and jewelry. The victim, who is partially disabled and requires a walker to walk, was able to request law enforcement assistance via Lifeline after the suspect fled her home. The victim believed there was possibly a second suspect involved, however she did not see the second suspect.

If anyone has information on this case they are urged to call the Secret Witness hotline at 661-322-4040. All calls are anonymous and anyone reporting information is not required to identify themselves by name.
