Excessive heat warning forecast for the weekend

The National Weather Service in Hanford has issued an excessive heat warning for Kern County with temperatures expected to hit 109 on Sunday, but the really hot temperatures could arrive on Monday.

Friday’s high could be 98 degrees, but Monday and Tuesday could see high temperatures hit 111 degrees.
