Police seek suspect in burglary of optometrist

BAKERSFIELD — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted for burglary.

Police said on May 15, at 1:53 a.m.,  the suspect forced entry to Dr. Ratty’s Optometrist office located at 2222 E Street, and removed items. The suspect is described as a: white male, 20-30 years of age, 5-foot-11, 160 pounds, wearing a multi-colored baseball hat with head light, prescription glasses, light colored t-shirt and shorts.
