Kern County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 25-year-old Delano man on May 2 after finding more than five pounds of methamphetamine in a Delano apartment.

The Sheriff Department’s Gang Investigations/Street Enforcement Unit partnered with federal Department of Homeland Security agents to conduct an investigation that led to the arrest of Saul Carrasco, who was taken into custody on suspicion of drug sales and child endangerment.

Deputies found methamphetamine, cash and other evidence of narcotics sales inside the apartment at 448 18th Avenue in Delano.
