Dr. Raj Patel tackled an unusual topic during a segment on “The Richard Beene Show” on Friday — anger management.
An internist. who leads Bakersfield’s Preferred Family Care, Patel spoke at length with host Richard Beene about the health dangers related to managing anger.
“If you’re a perpetually angry person then it can be harmful to your health,” Patel said. “It can raise your blood pressure. It can cause gastric acidity and ulcers. It can cause memory impairment. It can cause a stroke. Those are consequences you have to live with for the rest of your life.”
