Bakersfield police search for man who sexually assaulted, robbed teen girl

Bakersfield Police are searching for a man who sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl at gunpoint on Friday, and robbed her in a alley near the 2900 block of Haley Street.

Police said after the sexual assault the suspect followed the victim home and demanded additional money, and waited while the girl got more money to give to him. The suspect then fled the scene on foot.

Police describe the man as a black male, 20-25 years of age, 5-foot-6, green or hazel eyes, light complexion withpossible moles on his face, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and blue gym style shorts.
