VIDEO: Bakersfield police officers uninjured in traffic collision

The Bakersfield Police Department released a video Thursday of one of its patrol cars being hit during a traffic collision at Chester and Truxtun avenues on Wednesday.

Police said a motorist, who was heading south on Chester Avenue, ran a red light and struck the police cruiser that was heading east on Truxtun Avenue. The two officers were uninjured and the other motorist had minor injuries.
