Bill O’Reilly is out at Fox News

Talk show host Bill O’Reilly and Fox News have parted ways in the wake of a sexual harassment scandal, according to a company news release.

O’Reilly’s show “The O’Reilly Factor” has been one of the most popular shows on cable TV for years, but the network said the show will not return.

The New York Times reported that Fox News and O’Reilly has spent $13 million to settle five sexual harassment cases brought against the host by women. The Wall Street Journal, which is owned by a Fox News parent company, reported Tuesday that O’Reilly’s department was imminent, and New York Magazine confirmed that report on Wednesday morning.
