It’s going to be a rough and tumble night of roller derby, but ultimately it’s for a good cause.

The Bakersfield Diamond Divas will host a doubleheader of roller derby action at tonight at Skateland, Inc, 415 Ming Ave. Doors will open at 5 p.m. and the first bout will take place at 5:30 p.m. between the Diamond City Minors and the Modesto Misfits. The Divas Roughcuts will take to the rink at 7:30 p.m. against the Woodland Area Roller Derby. All proceeds of the event will benefit the Bakersfield Firefighters Burn Foundation.
