VIDEO: Alton Brown on First Look with Scott Cox

As a preview of his show at the Fox Theater, celebrity Chef Alton Brown visited with “First Look with Scott Cox” on Monday morning, and provided some sage culinary advice to hosts Scott Cox and Michael Hopper.

Brown, however, was a bit overwhelmed by the more than 50 doughnuts from Smith’s that Cox brought into the studio for the occasion. Brown said he was looking forward to eating at one of Bakersfield’s renowned Basque restaurants.

“I happen to love Basque food,” said Brown, who starred on Food Network shows such as “Iron Chef” and “Good Eats.” “That’s one that’s not readily available in the U.S.”
