De’Andre Johnson made a major mistake at the worst possible time. While the country continues to shake our collective heads at the stupidity of NFL players who seemingly can’t keep the violent mitts off meager females, Johnson answered a week right hand from a Florida co-ed with a sharp right hand to her face leaving the young girl staggered and bleeding and leaving Johnson without a spot on the Florida State football team. Not only as he been booted off the FSU team but he also faces charges of assault. Now I’m not here to defend the boy, but doesn’t someone have to ask: what about the girl? Why do women have essentially a free shot on every member of my gender without facing the same repercussions we do if men even grab a women and leave a mark. All I am saying: What’s good for the goose is good for the gander!
