I have finally uncovered the Grand Ole Party’s strategy for recruiting more Hispanics. Allow some poor schnook to say something off the chart stupid and beat him or her within an inch of their political lives.
Enter Monsieur Donald Trump.
One of the many reasons I could not support Trump for president, despite my admiration and good feelings about him as a self-made billionaire, is his flair for the whackadoo comment at the wrong time. Most of us understood what Mr. Trump was TRYING to say, he just said it in a typically bombastic, nuclear weapons drop sort of a way.
Not presidential, sorry! One down, 14 to go!
