TRBS gives to Honor Flight

TRBS gives to Honor Flight

Every now and then I start to feel sorry for myself wondering if my work really impacts anyone. Talking on the radio ain’t rocket science and there are days when the phones don’t ring or I even confuse myself that I begin to see myself as a monkey at the zoo.

But every now and again a bright light of clarity and meaning shines like a Palm Springs Summer day and  our show hits the mark and has overwhelming purpose and never has that been more evident than our work with Lili Marsh and the Honor Flight of Kern County.

With the help of Legislators Supervisor Leticia Perez, US House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy,  State Sen. Jean Fuller, City Councilman Bob Smith and Assembly member Shannon Grove and former Bakersfield City Firefighter Robby Pratt we raised $18,600 in less than three hours!!!

That’s real!

 That’s impactful

And that’s amazing and I sincerely thank you …for the Honor Flight of Kern County and for my personal psyche. LOL
