j.R. Flores was born and raised in Bakersfield,Ca. His first radio “gig” was in 2008 at Kern Radio, producing Saturday morning programs. After a short stint with a local sound company, j.R. returned to American General Media where he is now Program Director for Kern Radio and ESPN Bakersfield, plus host of The j.R.
