More from Bakersfield last night. Took us about an hour to get around this mess. At least we had a crowded exit at Panama Ln. to get off the highway. The people past that: Not so much. They had to wait at least a couple hours on clean-up. Big mess on the 99 near White Ln. Weather related. Flash flooding. Bad crashes. Debris everywhere. And drivers just lost their minds. Seems no one really knows how to treat a stop light intersection during a power outage anymore. And people who drive low-riders think their in a raised pickup through floods! This is CRAZY!! How can this be?! I was just in northern cal and it was 113 degrees and Super HOT….now as I'm driving back home to LA on the 99 hwy, I see police and fire trucks making everyone exit the 99 as its closed by Bakersfield and I'm caught in this FLASH FLOOD. The entire streets are flooded and I'm stuck!!
