The less famous woman at the Espys

Jessica Steindorff was at the ESPY awards last night, but of course nobody noticed, because everyone in attendance was in orbit around Caitlyn Jenner. Steindorff was one of the people involved in the car wreck in Malibu caused by Jenner back when he was still Bruce. Kimberly Howe was killed in the accident when Jenner, texting, rear-ended her car, sending it into oncoming traffic. It bears mentioning that Jenner’s daughter was photographed a week later, driving the $165,000 car she got for her birthday, texting away, oblivious to her father’s deadly actions. Brilliant. So there was Steindorff, watching Jenner receive an award for apparently being some kind of hero. Must’ve been a rough night for her. Not so much for Jenner, who not only got the award, but a new reality show to boot, where America can follow his/her exploits on TV. And will we use this moment to teach the public about the dangers of texting and driving? Nope. Sadly, there’s no money (or awards) in that.
