Bakersfield Police announce changes to property room

Beginning Monday, the Bakersfield Police Department’s property room will be open to the public from 8 a.m. to noon every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The facility will be closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well as on the weekends and holidays.  The property room will still adhere to all Department of Justice firearm related inquiries and returns during this time frame. If any citizen has inquiries related to property that is being stored at the Bakersfield Police Department, please contact the property room (661) 326-3802.
