Veterans Donut Mixer

Kindness_Crew_2

It’s the day after the 4th of July, and what better way to spend the morning than with some of the bravest men this planet has ever seen. We loaded up the Mercedes-Benz with Donuts from a local shop and headed over to the monthly donut and coffee mixer held at the Veterans Center on Golden State Ave. The Vets were more than delighted to see us, mainly cause we brought more donuts than usual. But to hear some of the stories the men were sharing with each other was more than what we brought them. These men are truly part of the greatest generation, and we all owe them are thanks and freedom. I might even have to bring my Grandfather, a WWII and Korean Veteran, to next months outing.
