Just about everybody knows about the homeless situation in Bakersfield, but not everybody knows that everyday at the Bakersfield Homeless Shelter they serve a warm lunch to all those in need. So we decided what better way to spread some kindness and awareness then to volunteer our time and help serve a much needed meal to the less fortunate of Bakersfield. We showed up, put on some gloves and got to work in the kitchen. We helped prepare plates and serve lunch to all those that showed up that day. I know it made me feel good inside helping out a much needed organization that does so much for the less fortunate of Bakersfield.
