AGAIN? By RALPH BAILEY

It has happened yet again. Another quiet, rural movie theater gets turned into a national monument as the site of another senseless, meaningless shooting by a sick individual driven by evil. The quick reaction by the Lafayette Police foiled a clearly planned escape but once again law enforcement cannot and will not be there at the time of the crime. While many on the left will use this to usher in a another charge for gun control, I once again rise up to insist the polar opposite. It is time we stopped being shocked and surprised and begin to be prepared. As you’ve heard me rant in the past and will hear me again today say we are all in harm’s way the moment we remove our house key and enter society. Nothing and no place is safe or sacred. Schools, churches not even nondescript movie houses can allude the force of Satan. If I have to die like a fish in a barrel don’t I have the God given right to defend myself. It is time we send a message to the copy cat sickos feeding off the most innocent and defenseless that next time, Hell’s coming with us in the name of self defense and a concealed weapon.
