The 6:40 a.m. event at the Rabobank Convention Center was attended by Mayor Harvey Hall, Kern County Supervisor Karen Goh and other leaders emphasizing the importance of faith and unity.
Keynote speakers were Michigan Senatorial Candidate Clark Durant who heads a group of Christian schools in Detroit, and his friend Bill Pulte, founder of Pulte Homes.
