Two men are wanted by the Bakersfield Police Department in connection to a break-in and theft at the city of Bakersfield’s corporate yard on Sunday.

Police said the two men entered the yard at 1:28 p.m. at 4101 Truxtun Avenue and used bolt cutters to enter storage containers. The suspects removed multiple items and loaded them into a nearby waiting vehicle and fled with the stolen property.

Investigators said the first suspect is a Hispanic male, 25-30 years of age, shaved head, mustache and goatee, 5-foot-10 to 6-feet, 200-210 pounds, wearing a black long sleeve shirt, riding a black mountain bike with gold rims. The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 20-30 years of age, mustache and goatee, 5-8 to 5-10, 180-200 pounds, wearing a white shirt, black zip up hooded sweatshirt, light blue shorts, white shoes, riding a white BMX style bike.

Police said the suspects loaded a red or maroon Mazda B300 Extra Cab Pickup, with tinted rear windows, and fled the scene.

Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to call Detective Brian Looney (661) 326-3541, or the Bakersfield Police Department (661) 327-7111.
